Agility is Everything: How Application Architectures are Changing
If there’s one overarching goal in the New Economy, it’s the achievement of agility. Markets change faster than ever these days, and the reverberations can be felt throughout the globe in weeks, days or even hours. The challenge to information managers of all sects is therefore to design systems that are themselves agile. The Web and Software-as-a-Service provide a means to this end, but leveraging such technology comes with serious challenges.
