Subject: Capt. Midnight: The Little Booth That Could
There once was a little booth that participated in its first trade show,
all the other bigger booths looked over and laughed, ho, ho, ho.
You’re too small to be noticed they said,
you’re not even a fire engine red.
But the little booth took no heed,
“I’m here to do great deeds!”
To show the World how cool I am,
and to impress all those who will soon be fans.
For I am with MetaTV,
fueled with passionate people driving me.
In the end everyone will see what I can do,
with dazzling demos through and through.
There was such incredible traffic coming through,
and fancy giveaways like clocks and pens too.
Such interest we generated, on my first day,
people were heard to say “that’s incredible and no way!”
From HBO to Comcast and Time Warner,
even the competition was seen peeking from the corner.
With great engineers turned marketeers,
and everyone giving them cheers.
My collateral went like hotcakes,
and oos and ahhs trailing in our wake.
How can we help but succeed?
Really, a MetaTV sticker is all that you’d need.
And oh if it were just that,
but my cousin pods at our partners booths helped accentuate the facts.
With Liberate, Microsoft and BigBand,
MetaTV was everywhere in WCS land.
Forget those stuffed animals and crazy gimmicks,
we rise about it all with substance and specifics.
Whether they were a netop, ebusiness or just plain curious,
those who met me knew we were serious.
So endeth the first day,
a successful and fruitful display.
A tale that is so true,
one that can’t help but get to you.
It all came down to this,
we staked our claim and there we stood ….
…. I am, the little booth that could!
