Subject: Hot News Alert: We’re #1! (In search hits for “interactive television” over the web)
Following a consistent drive to metatag (pun intended) our main home page, analysis of what each of the search engines key on, submiting (free) requests for cataloging , as well as our consistently being in the iTV industry news, I am delighted to announce that we are now consistently the #1 iTV company (in most cases) that appears on the FIRST page of results when the words “interactive television” are used in the search of the most popular search engines. Here are some of the results:

Due to our change in home page content, this is from the cached previous home page. Our new home page should provide even more hits though since I made sure the words interactive television are in every other paragraph on the latest iteration. Stay tuned, we might move up the list.

We are not on the first page of the main yahoo search but are among the “most popular” in the industry category

Number 5 on the list but blowing away all the middleware folks and any other “iTV” company

Number 6 on the list again, no other iTV company makes the first page

#1 of the search results helpful section … Liberate and OpenTV eat our dust …
Stay tuned, I’m playing around with a few other search criteria on our site and hope to move us up the list in all the categories … Lycos is a little disappointing right now but we’ll get there with them soon!
