What's in Obsydian 2.5?
It contains a bunch of cool new features as well as the much anticipated availability of the Obsydian for Windows NT/BackOffice generator. With Obsydian 2.5 you can now create both 16 bit and 32 bit applications. Here are some considerations that you should be aware of. Easy to use, ready to use

• The best just get better. With Obsydian 3.0 we will unveil the next generation graphical user interface for Obsydian. An interface that will contain input from HFI, one of the leaders in software ergonomics and GUI design.

Alcatraz

• Alcatraz is the infamous prison island, hewn from solid rock, in the middle of the San Francisco Bay. It is also the code name for the Obsydian third-party class library initiative. This initiative, which will be officially announced and named on September 1, 1996, is designed to promote the development of third-party Obsydian class libraries.
