  Pre-Requisites

  Your Experience Level

  1.You must be an active Obsydian customer, current on Upgrades, with 6 months Obsydian development experience

  2.You must have completed at least a pilot application in Obsydian

  Your Hardware/Software Configurations

  The Windows NT/BackOffice generator is targeted at Windows NT 4.0,and will not support Windows NT 3.51

  Hardware Configuration

  • Intel Pentium system (48 MB RAM and 2 GIG disk recommended) OR Intel Pentium Pro
  • Network connection to client system.
  • The network connection between client and server may be any combination of the following:
  • Network card: token ring , Ethernet
  • Protocol: NetBEUI, TCP/IP

  Software Configuration

  • Microsoft Visual C++ 4.2 or higher and MSVC 1.52 (32 bit client will not require MSVC 1.52)
  • Microsoft BackOffice 2.0:
  • Microsoft Windows NT 4.0
  • Microsoft SQL Server 6.5
  • Systems Management Server SMS 1.1
